Christi began her orthodontic career in 1990 with Dr. David Skersick in the San Juan Capistrano office as the Office Manager. When Dr. Skersick retired, she continued on with Dr. Edmond Henken and later with Dr. David Kennedy when he joined the practice. Christi now manages both the San Clemente and the San Juan Capistrano offices, traveling between both offices. She enjoys her “flock” and considers the staff part of her family.

Christi and her husband, Rick, have been married over 25 years and have a blended family of 7 children and 11 grandchildren.

Lindsey is a well-known professional in the dental field and brings 35 years of experience to our San Clemente office as Treatment Coordinator. Having grown up in San Clemente, she enjoys seeing the children of the folks she grew up with there. Lindsey is so happy to have been introduced to the field of orthodontics and is always happy to assist the patients and parents with their financial and insurance needs.

Lindsey has four grown children of her own and two grandchildren and a blended family with her husband, Ritchie. Their joys are their family, their tropical home in San Clemente, and all that San Clemente has to offer.

Since 1992, Molly Steblay is the first happy face you see at the front desk when visiting our San Juan Capistrano office. Molly received her Dental Assistant degree in 1972 from United Health Careers in San Bernardino and has enjoyed working in the dental profession ever since. For Molly, the best part is working in the orthodontic field. She loves the fast pace and all the kids, as she has watched them grow up. Molly loves talking to the parents and helping them.

Molly has been married to Phil since 1973, and they are the proud parents of two sons and a daughter who are now embarking on their own careers. Molly and Phil enjoy riding their bikes along the trails in San Clemente, working out, and vacationing at their winter home in Colorado.

Fia’s cheerful face can be seen at the front desk and also in the back office as an Orthodontic Assistant in our San Clemente office. Fia brought 17 years of orthodontic experience with her when she moved to the San Clemente area five years ago and joined our practice. She finds it rewarding to see the patients regularly and to see the smiles they develop.

Fia has been married to her husband, Gene, for 26 years, and they are the parents of three grown children. They love living by the beach and enjoying the Southern California weather.

Danielle (“Dani”) has been an Orthodontic Assistant with Henken and Kennedy since 1998. Dani has built wonderful relationships with both patients and parents who know her for her kind gentleness. She loves the staff she works with and feels blessed to be a part of the family at work every day.

Danielle and Carlos have been married since 2001 and enjoy watching their son, Noah (nine years old), play soccer and skateboard. They all love playing with their new addition to the family, Emma, who is eight months old.

Gloria joined the Team Ortho family in 2003 and has been an Orthodontic Assistant since 1986. Having grown up in Huntington Beach, she moved to the Mission Viejo area in 1990. Gloria loves working with the patients, getting to know them, and helping them accomplish healthy, beautiful smiles. Seeing their transformation from the beginning smile to the final removal of braces is exciting and gratifying for Gloria.

Gloria has been married to her loving husband, Sergio, since 1990, and they have two children. She enjoys doing crafts and making jewelry, crocheting, and scrapbooking.

Terri relocated to California from Wisconsin, where she started working in the dental field as a Sophomore in high school and eventually became an Orthodontic Assistant. She joined the family at Henken and Kennedy in 2005 and brings her unique sense of humor to all with her wit and charm. The patients find it easy to relate to Terri and look forward to their visits with her.

Terri has three children and two grandchildren and is happy to be in the Southern California climate.

We are fortunate to have Brenda as one of our great Orthodontic Assistants in both the San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano offices. The children especially relate to Brenda’s cheerful personality as well as her gentleness while working on them.

Brenda has lived in San Clemente all her life and shares all her free time with husband, Steven, and her family and friends. She finds it very fulfilling to see the faces of the patients when they have their braces removed and see their beautiful, winning smiles.

Jenna has been the Financial Coordinator for the San Juan Capistrano office since 2001. Jenna is passionate about her work and looks forward to working with the patients and parents to fully utilize their insurance and flex accounts and make the best financial arrangements to suit each family. She loves seeing new patients join the practice and leave years later with beautiful smiles.

Jenna grew up in Huntington Beach and feels blessed to be married to her wonderful husband, Jeremy. They have three children and reside in Mission Viejo. Her favorite hobbies include working out, designing jewelry, and spending time with family and friends.
